I'm just passionate about beautiful, luxurious yarn - I love to knit with it and collect it and I'm happy to share it with you!
I purchase most of my yarns direct from numerous yarn producers and dyers from around the world and am constantly searching for new treasures to add to the collection.
Many of my yarns are hand-dyed or handpainted to my specific requests.
All of these yarns have never been used and are carefully stored in snap-lock bags.

I am of the vintage that remembers when yarn was always called 'wool' and came in 3ply, 5ply and 8ply. These days we have the choice of an amazing range of fibre types which I'm delighted to offer, plus to get an idea of the 'thickness' of the yarn  the following is a rough guide for you:
Laceweight = approx. 1-2ply, Sock/Fingering Weight = approx. 3-4ply, Sportweight = approx. 5ply, DK = approx. 8ply, Aran = approx. 10ply, Bulky = approx. 12ply and Super Bulky = approx. 14ply and above.
I try to keep your postage costs to a minimum - I always combine postage for multiple items, I offer a low capped price for postage on larger orders to anywhere in Australia and I do not add anything for packaging/handling.
