Antique tapestry picture in wool by Hannah Spencer 1844.  This tapestry is in excellent condition. The colours have remained strong, probably due to the picture being in storage for many years and kept away from the light.

 

The frame size is  26" wide   x  22.1/4" high.   The visible picture size is 23" wide x 19.1/4" high.

The weight is approximately 4 kgs.  weight for carrier will have to be supplied after packaging.

At present the picture is housed in an Oak Frame behind glass. I think the oak frame dates from the 1950's.   Collection would be preferable, but delivery can be organised, but I would want to take out the glass to avoid breakage.  I would prefer the buyer to organise collection by their own carrier.  Some carriers like Hermes who are very affordable and reliable will not insure glass items.  It will be up to the buyer to decide which carrier is best for their needs.

     I will offer help and organise adequate packing should the buyer decide to organise delivery. I can pack very safely and securely, but would require extra time and would not expect the buyer to organise transport until I have confirmed the item is packaged and ready.

Payment can be accepted either on collection or on an agreed delivery.

I would be prepared to deliver a reasonable distance with some fuel contribution or meet halfway, I am prepared to be flexible by agreement.
