Das in der karibischen Atmosphäre aufgenommene "The Temple Of I&I" atmet den Spirit und den Rhythmus Jamaikas und klingt wie eine Fortsetzung des legendären Thievery Corporation Debütalbums "Sounds From The Thievery Hi-Fi" (1996). Das Duo siedelte für die Aufnahmen mit seiner gesamten Live-Rhythm-Section aus Washington, DC in die Geejam Studios in Port Antonio im Herzen Jamaikas. Dort entstanden mit viel Ganja und Rum und diversen Vokalisten, darunter dem bekannten Mr. Lif sowie der exzellenten Newcomerin aus Kingston und Ex-Miss Jamaica, Racquel Jones, fünfzehn fabelhafte Tracks zwischen Dub, Downbeat, Reggae, Hip-Hop und Electronica und damit ein inspirierender Nachfolger ihres letzten Brazil-Albums "Saudade" (2014).
