   This lot includes 3 pieces of 6 inch EXTRA FAT all-organic New Mexico CHOLLA!  These logs are cut from some of our thickest Cholla stock - with a diameter of 1-1/2" to 2".  Length is exactly 6".  These are HEAVY pieces, more like blocks than traditional Cholla.  Total weight of all 3 pieces is about 1 lb.

   IF you are looking for IDEAL (very strong, solid and beautiful) X-Large Cholla pieces for any and all crafting purposes, THESE are the ones you want.  You won't be disappointed!  Guaranteed!

   These particular pieces have been well cleaned - NO SOAPS, NO DETERGENTS, NO CHEMICALS.  Most pieces are smooth to the touch.  If you will be using the Cholla in aquariums, they are Aquarium Ready.  And compared to normal Cholla stock, these thicker pieces will also last the longest in a submerged aquarium environment.  After selecting and thoroughly cleaning the pieces, they have been soaked in water before being sun dried - so boiling the pieces in hot water (to make the pieces sink) is optional.  All Cholla will eventually sink, if not immediately. 

  As you can see from the pictures, after our cleaning process, the details in the cholla wood really show.  These pieces are visually GREAT for all aquarium and arts & crafts purposes!
