TOP-MESSTECHNIK

The shore hardness tester HT-6510A is small in the dimension, easily to transport and light in weigt simply. The Durometer HT-6510A is our standard model for the measurement of the hardness in shore A from soft plastics, durex, rubber, gum, natural rubber and elastomers.

You can use the HT-6510A locally as hand measuring instrument or for the material testing in the laboratory. The testing set consists of a probe with measuring head as well as a digital display showing the measuring results in a resolution of 0,1 degrees of hardness.

The HT-6510A corresponds to the standards DIN 53505, ISO 7619 and ASTM D 2240. Our equipment has a RS-232 interface to transfer the measured values to a laptop or a PC. Software and cables (SW2) are optional available in our shop.

Product highlights:
- DIN 53505, ISO 7619 and ASTM D 2240 conformal
- Large measuring range with hight resolution
- Maintenance-free digital display
- High grade probe
- HOLD function for maximum values
- AVERAGE function for measured values
- ABS plastic housing
- Measurement from hardness shore A

Technical details & application:
Particularly in the materials technology hardness plays a huge role. The measured hardness of a body makes possible conclusions on its characteristics e.g. about how quickly it breaks or is being scratched. By the hardness after shore is meant the resistance against the penetration of a body of certain geometrical form under defined thrust forced into a sample. The penetration way is measured and indicated. We are recommending sample test probes with a minimum thickness of 6 mm for optimal results of measurement. You can superimpose if necessary. several samples, in order to obtain the minimum thickness. The measuring point should be at least 15 mm distant from the outside edges.
