This nicely illustrated leaflet is an insurance prospectus incorporating a proposal form for "Legal & General Motor Car Insurance". There is no date but from dates within the text, I think 1935. The prospectus has details of what the insurance would cover, details of premiums for various size of engine cars, the proposal form and details of Legal & General offices. The item measures 9.6cm x 22.2cm when folded. When fully opened out it is four panels wide and two panels deep. A very interesting item, excellent and scarce item for an Insurance related collection.

The item is in a very good minus condition. General edge, corner and fold end rubs, a little uneveness in the folding, when opened out there are tiny creases at left hand corners and at bottom right hand corner, tiny holes at two fold junctions, light rubbing along folds, some small, light creases across folds, very small split at right hand end of top horizontal fold, tiny creases at fold ends, several brown marks to item, the odd tiny mark here and there, a little light browning along one edge, the odd tiny bump to edges, when folded there are dark brown marks to rear panel with light grubbiness and some light brown spots along top and spine edges. Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.
