comics/science fiction fanzine: THE 4-COLOR FLASH #5---produced by me--Robert Jennings; 1983; aprox 8-1/2x11"; 8 pages foldover unstapeled, photo offset.  

       A fanzine devoted to news of the comics and science fiction and the role playing games fields, along with up to date reviews of new comics, new books, new games, and articles related to the hobby.  It came out sort of bi or tri-weekly, depending on how much breaking industry news we could come up with.  Sometimes we were right on the money with breaking news, and sometimes we were spectacularly wrong, as with our headline feature that Marvel Comics was buying the Richie Rich character (uh, oops!!!).  Well remembered, it originally was intended to promote my comics/SF/games store located in Worcester, MA, but it rapidly achieved a good circulation well beyond the New England area.  I think we were overwhelmed with all the news bulletins and calls we were getting about new releases and changes in the fields, more info and breaking news than we could reasonably publish or even pretend to keep up with.  Anyway, it was fun while it lasted.  For some stupid reason that I can't recall, the earliest issues were not  numbered, so, I'm sort of guessing about those unnumbered issues.  

       The magazine is in Near Mint condition.
