WP70 is a professional grade, high quality, low modulus,neutral cure silicone for perimeter sealing of external door and window frames. Rapid curing with good adhesion properties.

This RTV adhesive and sealant is unaffected by UV, ozone, salt water immersion and extreme temperatures. It contains no fungicides or oils that may allow water to leach and has good durability characteristics.

Perimeter sealing of external wood, aluminium and PVCu door and window frames and for weather sealing and flexible jointing of infill panels. WP70's additional PVCu adhesion promoters make this product an ideal choice for PVCu window and door fitters as well as the home DIY enthusiast.

Ways to stop silicone joints failing

  1. Use a good quality silicone
  2. Choose the correct silicone for the job
  3. Clean all surfaces of dirt and grease
  4. Practice your gunning technique
  5. Ensure the joint width and depth aren't too large

Limitations

WP70 is not suitable for use with aquariam, for aquariums and fishtanks we recommend HA6 Marine Silicone. WP70 is not suitable for use on bitumen, asphalt, natural stone or self-cleaning glass and over-painting is not recommended. For these applications you may be interested in GB Pro, our MS Polymer adhesive and sealant.
