The programming title certainly holds what it promises for the numbers included on the LP are as varied as day and night. Alongside technically perfect rock ballads one finds intensely rhythmic ethno numbers with an African or Latin-American origin. Some are pleasantly easygoing, while others such as Chinatown demand several hearings and real concentration on the part of the listener in order to take in the finely chiseled mix of Beat and Far-Eastern melodies.
