Description:
Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) is a protein hormone produced by cells within the ovary. AMH blood levels are a marker for ovarian (egg) reserve, with elevated levels being a strong indicator for PCOS, whilst low levels indicate low ovarian reserves. In both cases, an appointment with a fertility specialist should be made.

This Anti-Mullerian Hormone test (AMH) can be done at any time in the menstrual cycle, as AMH levels are stable throughout the cycle.
