A fabulous book first published in 1741, this is a reprint of the 1750 edition revised by Rev William Bell to include the original author's last words. A fascinating window on Christian thinking and its application to everyday life in 18th century England.

Condition: This secondhand book is in very good condition with wear and ageing. There is significant wear to the leather covers and spine. The pages are very good - there is a 9cm tear to the front endpaper. Wonderful name and date on inside front cover and name on back endpaper. Some pencil annotation in the margins. Please refer to the pictures above.
