This fabulous and collectible piece of vintage jewelry is a pin/brooch by Charles Horner. The large pin features a spray of six individual, nicely detailed sterling leaves on a silver stem bound together with a silver tie. The pin bears full English hallmarks for Chester 1947 and the C.H Charles Horner maker's mark. Hallmarks are C.H, lion passant (for sterling silver), Chester Assay Office, and date letter W (for 1947). Five of the six silver stems also bear the British sterling silver mark of the lion passant, though marks are quite worn. Clasp is a simple C-style with the closure pin extending well beyond the clasp. Piece is in excellent vintage condition. Comes in gift box.
