The “J” was Esterbrook’s sleek and suave, classic pocket pen that appealed to the practicality of the times. It was a perfect pen for both men and women, and we think it still is today.
Our revival of this 1940’s and 50’s pen has all of the hallmarks of its predecessor, with a few new bells and whistles.
The “JR” is stylish and refined without being too fancy. It’s meant to match your style, as well as it graces your hand. With a refined design, that isn’t fussy, it is compact in size, so you can always have one on hand in your jeans or shirt pocket, purse, or briefcase. It can be with you on the go, wherever you go.
Mirroring the original “J”’s production, our new version is offered in three colors: Tuxedo Black, Carmine Red and Capri Blue. Tuxedo and Carmine shine bright in Silver trim and Capri gleams in Gold.
And since we hope you’ll hold onto it forever, both the German JoWo nib and the top of the pen have been engraved with the Esterbrook Eternity symbol.

We strive for your ultimate satisfaction. If you're not pleased with your order, we ask that you get in touch with us as soon as possible by phone or e-mail. If the item was damaged, incorrect or defective upon receiving the shipment, we will do our best to correct the issue at our expense.
To qualify for a refund, the item must be in the exact same, brand-new condition it was received, including the original packaging, plus any accessories, parts, and paperwork that came with the item. We cannot accept opened and used bottles of ink, ink cartridges, used notebooks, engraved pens or pen cleaning supplies. When you receive any new fountain pen, we recommend to inspect it thoroughly and if necessary, lightly dip the nib tip in washable ink to test it. Any pens that have been fully inked and used will incur a 15% restocking fee for preferential returns. Approval of all returns is subject to the discretion of Goldspot Pens, who reserves the right to decline refund requests if the product has been improperly used, damaged, modified or is otherwise unable to be resold.
