This is a large 3 section heavy duty aluminum alloy tripod with a 3-way pan and tilt head, quick release head plate and standard 1/4" mounting screw for scopes, cameras & camcorders. Its maximum working height is 166cm (5.45 ft.). There are two in-built bubble levels to ensure horizons are straight. The centre column is geared for precision positioning and the legs are lockable at various angles and heights and have adjustable rubber feet for additional stability. A hook on the bottom of the centre column allows a camera/scope bag or sand bag to be attached to increase the tripod's stability. A grab handle and supplied carry case make the tripod easy to transport.

Once the quick-release head plate is attached to a camera or scope, please push its wing butterfly nut back to its flat position before mounting the plate on to the tripod head (as shown in the last picture above).

The tripod's head-plate can be set vertically or at an angle - a useful feature when mounting a mobile phone on the tripod using a mobile phone adapter, either in a landscape or portrait position, as shown in some photos above. The mobile phone adapter is not included in this tripod package, but it is available in this store (under product category "Universal camera adapters").
