The back and rope chain border frame is made of 14k yellow gold. There is a heart shaped cabochon citrine stone in the center measuring 8mm by 6mm, surrounded by 6 mine cut diamonds. They measure about 2mm each, totaling approximately .18 ctw, exhibiting I1 in clarity and I-J in color. This unique brooch measures 1-7/8" in diameter, it has a bale so it can be also worn as a pendant . The bale is 4mm in width. Any darkness in brooch is from camera reflection. The back has a small divot and some minor scratches due to its age. It weighs 26.6 grams and marked 14k, ( it has also been thoroughly tested as 18k gold and platinum).
