Our
new portable TMT-85 environmental meter sound level meter
is compact, robust and very easy to use. It enables a quick situation
check as well as a regular control measurement. The measurement
of noise is gaining importance in all areas, especially in the determination
of stress factors in the office, workshop, aircraft noise and noise.
This device operates with sound leveling according to
A. The rating curve A according to IEC / DIN 651) is the curve
of the evaluation filter which is applied to the sound pressure signal.
It is supposed to represent a similar frequency behavior for the human
ear for a certain time.
Another great advantage of this noise level meter is its large
measuring range from 31.5Hz to 8.5kHz and from 30dB to 130dB.
The meaning is clearly evident from the curves of the same volume perception
(isophones).
The device has a "HOLD function" to
keep the current measured value on the display and a Min- and
Max-function to keep the minimum / maximum measured noise level
on the display. Thus, it is very simple to get e.g. a measurement over
10 minutes and the maximum / minimum value. Other comfort features include
backlighting and automatic shutdown
when not in use.
