The
Biomass Monitor 220 combines the latest advances in radio-frequency dielectrics
with an integrated software programme that allows both live cell mass
monitoring (or control) as well as radio-frequency scanning. The model 220 has
an integral multiplexer allowing up to 4 fermentors to be monitored; to expand
the system you simply add an extra Head Amplifier(s) and probe(s) as all the
additional electronics are built in. The frequency scanning option can provide
additional information on the metabolic state of the culture, this makes the
instrument ideal for operation in research or process control.
