This listing is for a new can opener that aims solves a few different problems:
*Rather than attaching to the side of a can, it connects to the top of a can.
*The turning mechanism will spin clockwise or counterclockwise--so that it can be used by right and left handed people equally.
(In the second photo above, you can see how it attaches to the top and how it works for a left-handed person.)
*It removes the entire lid--so that there are no sharp edges and the lid doesn't drop into your food like with a traditional opener.
(In the third photo above, you can see an entire lid removed by the opener.)
*The metal is stainless steel, so it won't rust over time.
