After sounding the ship Captain EJ Smith orders Jack Phillips( the image of Phillips is NOT included) to begin sending CQD messages to any ships within range.
Phillips sends out Marconi grams almost until the ship sinks.
These are two telegrams to the Titanic's sister ship Olympic.
One is from Titanic requesting help, CQD, SOS!
The second is from Carpathia, notifying the Olympic that Titanic has sank with great loss of life.
