18th Century Dug Relic, Mattock Blade-Hand Digging Tool.  

This tool was most likely used agriculturally for light digging, break up soil or pull up small rocks. 

Not sure who found this item or where it was found.  

No handle.

In very good relic condition; rusted and pitted, the surface corrosion is a bit flaky. 

There is an old crack that doesn't appear to go through the blade  

Measurements: overall 3" x 8," the handle hole is 1.75"diameter, thickest part 2"
