Sometimes the lives of the stars are more illuminating behind the scenes than they are in front of the cameras.
In fact when powerful Hollywood producer Mel Wexler (Christopher Plummer) cast his glossy new television series, Manhattan, he didn’t figure that the private lives, and individual secrets of the stars would be more interesting than any script his writers could dream up.
Wexler, still trying to recover from the accidental deaths of his wife and children, starts the healing process by rekindling an old romance with the star of Manhattan, the stunning Sabina Quarles (Stephanie Beacham).
While the rest of the cast know nothing about the hot and heavy passion play between the leading lady and the producer, their own secrets are difficult to hide.
The cast of this successful prime-time series can only keep their private lives from going public for so long.
