On offer is an 1862 Confederate States of America $100 Banknote, T-39, in estimated Fine condition.

There are several pinholes. There are several areas of ink burn in the signatures.

The reverse of the note includes several interesting "Interest Paid" stamps, including one by Capt. Henry Russell Savage Jr., collector of customs at the port of Wilmington, NC and Depositary for the Confederate States Treasury. His "interest paid" stamp dated January 1st, 1865 places the time of stamp between the first Union attempt on Ft. Fisher in December 1864 (which resulted in Grant's dismissal of Butler) and the second assault in mid-January 1865, when the fort fell to Union forces.
