Here is an unusual antique COIN made from an English penny and a French coin..... one penny or 1d coin dated 1902.
French coin has words Republique Francaise on one side.
It has been stamped with the name Daniel Dupuis under the bust.
Look at the edge and you can see the slight overlap of the coins.

I would say this is a TRICK COIN made for gambling or similar by street vendors of the period.
