These are made with very strong materials Polycarbonate and ABS Plastics to withstand crashing, although nothing is indestructible these antennas are strong yet lightweight.
The SMA and RP-SMA antennas also feature a semi-rigid stem meaning they can be bent into almost any position and they will stay there.
Note:
The u.FL antennas do not have the semi-rigid stem.
u.FL and I-PEX are the same connector with different names and are fully interchangeable.
