BILLBERGIA NUTANS
(Queens tears Bromeliad)
The Billbergias produce some of the most spectacular blooms of all the bromeliads.
This species has delightfully colored pendulous clustered flowers on stems that weep
on this graceful plant. Bright olive green leaves in a tight rosette, they may turn reddish
in full sunlight, but it is generally advised to keep them in moderate to filtered bright
light. Mix peat ,orchid compost for a porous and slightly acid medium. Keep soil
somewhat dry, water once or twice each week, mist leaves if practical.
It easily and quickly forms clusters and is very hardy, they demand little care and adapt
to most household conditions, greenhouse or conservatory.
produces offshoots and blooms reliably through the Autumn/Winter. Cold resistant.

Supplied as: X 3 fresh, healthy offset plants 6"- 15"+making a good 20cm
starter pot.
The plants are supplied bare root & carefully packed. 

Use an orchid type compost, humus and medium bark for a porous and slightly acid medium. Keep soil somewhat dry, water once or twice each week, mist leaves if practical. Most Bromeliads adapt well to greenhouse, home or conservatory conditions.  Produces offshoots and blooms reliably through the Autumn/Winter.

(Note: Bromeliads are mainly supplied as pups, ramets, as divided from mother plants, they sometimes have some roots, not always, this is normal, roots form fast on planting)
