This is a nice wooden composite USA map from Target.  It has some landmarks such as the White House, the Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge, Alamo, Mt. Rushmore, and mountains in the western US.

There is a little removable magnetic car included that you can move throughout the map.

The background is light blue and the map itself is silver metal.  There is a dark blue border around the item to make it sit nicely on a shelf or mount to a wall. 

We used it to mark the areas we were studying throughout the United States.  It is very versatile and can be used for travel destinations, studying locations, or just fun!
