Back the adjustable poles out before placing the cover. It will help seat the cover in place.
The string spacing of 49.2/50mm(Neck) and 52mm(Bridge) is measured from center to center of the pole .
Please make sure to verify the size you need,there are 2 size of the Neck pickup cover--49.2mm and 50mm .
(Generally,49.2mm pole spacing is only used on Gibson Les Paul,but not all the Gibson Les Pauls use 49.2mm pole spacing pickups)
