HITLER'S HOMECOMING
Adolf
Hitler was Austrian by birth but it was not until his 5th year in
office that he returned there for an official visit, which is
commemorated by this rare original stamp.
Jubilant crowds
welcomed him home to Braunau where his house of birth was festooned with
Nazi flags. The stamp shows the house and the town's church steeple
behind it over Hitler's left shoulder.
A graphically bold jumbo size stamp in Hitler's favorite color (reddish brown). Seldom found
in such flawless condition - Mint Never Hinged and Fully Gummed.
