Her bodybuilding career began in 1981, and in 1984 she was suspended by the IFBB for one year after nude photos of her were published in a photo-shoot for Playboy magazine. Gandol competed in the IFBB Ms Olympia contest at the Beacon Theatre in Chicago, Illinois on November 27, 1993. Gandol went on to become a professional wrestler, a personal trainer, and a gym owner. Also featured is dancer Debby Benvin who began her training at the Carnegie Institute and performed with a wide variety of ballet and dance companies. At the time of publication Benvin was on the faculty at Point Park College in Pittsburgh with hopes of starting her own school.
