Hamm's Beer Case Blank Book/Sketch Book

This journal is made from an actual Hamm's beer case.  It's the perfect journal for someone who lives by the motto, "Write drunk, edit sober."  It has been filled with 3/8" (about 100 sheets) of unlined paper and then wire bound. The paper measures about 8½ x 5½ inches.  They hold up surprisingly well, even after months of rattling around in a backpack. I started making these because I prefer unlined paper so I write and draw in the same book. Sometimes I want to sketch out plans or ideas along with the writing without lines in the background.  Also the wire binding allows these to lay open flat so it's easier to write or draw in them. (I find the ones bound like a book difficult to use.) These make great journals, sketch pads, and recipe books.  I often have 3 different ones going at once with a different purpose for each one. (I have one that I use strictly for daily lists.)

Because they are made with actual beer cases, the cover may be a little bit worn when it arrives.  I won't use a badly worn or folded beer case, but these have already spent time in trucks, back rooms, and refrigerators before they even get to me.
