A ROMANCE OF MAORILAND by R Ward of Auckland First Edition 1894 Published in London in 1894 this is a very nice example of the First Edition of this adventure novel set in New Zealand with the Maori people, a brief synopsis of the story in the book is pictured in the listing, the story culminating with a volcanic eruption, the book is bound in the original pictorial cloth with bevelled edged boards, page edges gilded all-round, just over 7.5 inches tall, 318 pages, with eight full page illustrations, and a glossary of Maori words at the rear CONDITION apart from mild signs of wear and minor marks, the covers are in generally in nice clean fresh looking condition.
