This wonderful estate find looks handmade from the 40's or 50's

Four vintage plastic doilies - white NOT yellow as they appear on my monitor-

have been woven together  - two on each side - with what appears to be a silk ribbon and fit over

a vintage metal napkin/letter holder.  

The ribbons have a nice aged look...that add to the vintage charm.  

The holder measures 6" across and stands 6" tall.  Although it was probably 

originally intended to hold napkins in the kitchen I can see it in the bathroom 

holding lace edged guest towels , in the bedroom holding special letters and cards.
