Spielwaren Tiere mit Herz GmbH began in 1946 by the Broschek family,
making bears from old army blankets at their farmhouse. Soon other
materials became available. In the 1950's their new trademark was
developed, the heart pendant (Animals with Heart). In 1957 Berg built a
new factory in Admont. In the late 1960's Berg began making Limited
Edition & Replica Bears and animals
