RARE VINTAGE WOODEN JIGSAW PUZZLE FLY TWA TRANS WORLD AIRLINES PARIS FRANCE STRAUS #298 REX WERNER ARTIST

Up for auction and WITHOUT a reserve is one of a number of items I will be listing. This item is a great old puzzle from TWA TRANS WORLD AIRLINES by artist Rex Werner (who worked for TWA as Art Director and VP). The titled on the box says “FLY TWA CONSTELLATION”. It is a wonderful image of a Paris street scene and I love how he works with the shadows and light. It made the puzzle more fun. Lots of great details in the image. The puzzle is over 300 pieces and about 11” by 14” in size.

THIS PUZZLE CAME FROM THE COLLECTION OF HARRY RINKER, THE COLLECTOR AND WRITER OF MANY COLLECTOR BOOKS. IT CAME OUT OF WHAT WAS KNOWN AS THE "PUZZLE PIT" A COLLECTION OF ABOUT 5000 PUZZLES.

This is in excellent condition with minor wear from age and use. Both the puzzle and the box are in great overall shape with no major damage at all.
