Scarce invitation for Tim Hawkinson's unforgettable 2007 installation "How Man is Knit." It directly references Hawkinson's "Foot Quilt," which appeared in the exhibition (which was a 7 x 20 foot replica of the artist's footprint).

Process: Hand-cut fabric, machine embroidery & quilting. Edges intentionally left raw.

Materials: Silver polyester, Dacon batting, grey cotton or cotton-blend broadcloth (back), black embroidery thread

Condition: As received. Clean and no damage. Edges are frayed but stable. It has been in storage so has seen little handling.
