EBAY'S ONLY COMPLETE 6-NOTE SET OF RARE
SOUTH CAROLINA REVENUE BOND SCRIP
($1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50)
and THE BOND FOR WHICH THEY WERE ISSUED!!!!
INCREDIBLE ORIGINAL RECONSTRUCTION ERA SOUTHERN RR COLLECTION!!!

We can absolutely guarantee that no other seller anywhere can duplicate this offer!

This offer consists of EIGHT items, 6 banknotes and 2 Blue Ridge Railroad Bond Remnants (front vignette of train and title/partial guarantee on back so you can frame both sides!)

The banknotes are:

$1 - Slave transporting bales of cotton on wagon draw by oxen, young children in wreath, Southern Belle with basket of produce. Famous "slave" note!

$2 - Busy dock scene with ships and massive bales of slave produced cotton, 2 girls, Liberty in star tiara.  Breathtaking $2!

$5 - General Winthrop's "Sweet Potato Dinner" being prepared by crouching slave, Revolutionary War commanders. Historic Southern "slave" vignette!

$10 - Depicts the rescue of Americans held captive by the British by Colonial Soldiers ("The Rescue"). All notes are magnificently engraved with ornate "Greenbacks" by the American Bank Note Co. in the manner of U.S. Large Currency it was printing at the same time (which currently sells for for 5 to 10 figures in similar condition).

$20 - Continental Soldier, Liberty, cotton and wheat plants. Every note is a work of art!

$50 - George Washington portrait as on old U.S. Large Paper Money flanked by TWO slave scenes (riding cotton wagon with black and white steeds, carrying basket of cotton as other slaves work plantation in the background). It's rather amazing that this currency displays racist Confederate era images during the time of Reconstruction.

These banknotes were issued for the purpose of paying the State debt on bonds of the Blue Ridge Railroad Co. The last 2 items in this lot are the actual original vignettes from 2 of those very same bonds (front and back shown in the scans)!!! When such bonds were redeemed it was customary to cut out the vignette to insure that no one would try to monetize the cancelled bond. Full bonds do not exist. This is the ONLY extant remnant of a Blue Ridge RR bond!!!!!!!!!

An incredible collection loaded with Southern States numismatic and railroad history!!! Don't dare lose it.  Absolutely UNIQUE as no one else has the bond remnants - we snared all that are known and only have a handful left. You get TWO of them with purchase of the 6 notes!
