Excellent condition as pictured, authenticated by JSA! As the well documented story goes, during batting practice one day in the 1964 season, Perry was hitting some home runs. Reporter Harry Jupiter was watching with Manager Alvin Dark, and Harry said that Perry looked good with a bat in his hands and may hit a home run some day in a game. Alvin Dark's response was "Mark my words, a man will land on the moon before Gaylord Perry hits a home run". 5 years later, Perry smacked his 1st Major League homer on July 20th 1969, about 30 minutes after the we touched down on the moon. Ball ships in a Ballqube display case.
