1993 Italian Nativity Ornament- By Sculptor Giuseppe Armani- Porcelain Little Plate Crib Placchetta Presepe-Made in Florence Italy-A15

Vintage 1993 porcelain sculpture of the holy nativity. This ornament was created by Giuseppe Armani who is an Italian sculptor an artist born in 1935 and died in 2006. From an early age he was recognized as a gifted artist. He attended the Academy of fine arts in Florence and became well known from his artwork by the art gallery in Pisa. In 1973 he associated with the Florence sculptured the D’arte in Tuscany. Armani’s works are known worldwide for the detail, life, and colors. This ornament is in excellent condition with no chips or breaks. It is dated 1993 on the front and has a gold foil sticker that says made in Italy on the back. Giuseppe's signature engraved. It comes with the original box although the original box does have somewhere due to age.
