These glass plate negatives are from the Archives of reknowned Wisconsin portrait photographer Joseph L. Mutzbauer who started his photography career in 1879. His daughter Louise Mutzbauer & his son Joseph, continued operating the family portait studios after his passing in 1915 until they closed in 1928. During that span there were 3 studio locations: Brillion, Kewaunee and after moving locations for the last time in 1895 to Milwaukee WI.
