 On this listing we offer the "bitStork MOD746LED" Backlight kit, which allows to repair or modify the ICOM IC-746, IC-746 PRO and IC-7400 transceivers.

It replaces the original CFL backlight lamp.

This listing includes:

• MOD746LED  - LED strip specially designed for IC-746 (PRO) and IC-7400 radios,
• Dimming control module (supporting 0-100% brightness setup in Menu of the radio),
• Back-Light connection cables.
• Electronic copy (pdf document) of "Step-By-Step" repair manual (photo-history of the real IC-746 LCD modification).

The ICOM radios shown on pictures is NOT the part of this auction (it shows the operation of the new display in the repaired IC-746)!

Installation notes:

The MOD746LED modification is a relatively easy fix. A soldering experience is required! All details are described in the modification manual (pdf file), which will be send to your email address after the purchase.
