Check it out...Here's an UNCOMMON set of 2 (TWO!) different 8" wide by 10" tall AUTOGRAPHED B&W photos that have BOTH been 100% HAND-SIGNED by members of the Gospel Group led by Laymond Cloud (Died in 2008) & Ace Richman (Died in 1999) and known as The Sunshine Boys (See info below) -The photos feature 2 diff. images of the 4-man quartet with "The Sunshine Boys" name inset on front of each and each has vintage ink ink signatures signed on the back- One is signed only by Ace Richman and dated 1969 and the other is signed by Laymond Cloud as "Lead + Piano", Ace Richman as "Lead" and again dated 1969, Jack Martin & 1st Tenor Jim Lottes (?) on back-. How cool is that?

Here's some info on the group:

The Sunshine Boys Quartet were an American band formed in the late 1930s in Macon, Georgia. Their repertoire began as country and western, but over the years this transformed into swing, pop and eventually gospel songs. They also performed under several names, including: The Johnson Brothers, and the Travelers Quartet. Original personnel of the group included John "Tennessee" Smith (tenor), his brother A. L. "Smitty" Smith (lead), Milton "Ace" Richman (bass), and Pat Patterson (baritone). Each of the members played a variety of instruments. In 1942, Pat Patterson was replaced by Ed Wallace. It was at this time that the group expanded their repertoire to include gospel music in addition to Western, swing, and pop numbers. In 1949, the two Smith brothers left the group and continued to perform country music as The Smith Brothers in their home state of Georgia. For a short time The Sunshine Boys Quartet performed as the Travelers Quartet until they were joined by Floridians, Horace Floyd (tenor) and J. D. Sumner (bass). Horace didn't stay with the group long, and they then hired Fred Daniel from Covington, Georgia to sing tenor. In 1954, J. D. Sumner left to join The Blackwood Brothers Quartet and was replaced by Johnny Atkinson. In 1956, Burl Strevel replaced Atkinson. In 1964, Strevel was replaced by Jim Boatman, and about a year later Fred Daniel left the group. The Sunshine Boys Quartet continued to perform on the Nevada club circuit until they retired as a full time group in 1968, although they did perform on a limited basis over the next two decades.

Ace Richman (born August 14, 1916, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - died 1999) was an American singer, and played the tenor banjo, tenor saxophone, and bass fiddle. He was a founding member of The Sunshine Boys Quartet remaining with the group until they retired in 1968.

Laymond Cloud (April 13, 1929 - June 22, 2008) He was a member of Tonemasters Quartet for forty years where he recorded over thirty albums. Mr. Cloud was a renowned first tenor and piano player and appeared on the Grand Ole Opry.
