The 1981 Honda CR250R became the world's first model equipped with a water-cooled engine as a commercial motocrosser. In 1980, it became the champion of the All Japan Motocross Championship. It can be said that it is a replica model in which the technology of the works machine RC250M is applied as it is. The engine is a water-cooled 2-cycle single cylinder with a displacement of 246cc and generates 41 horsepower. Honda's original rear suspension called Prolink suspension is used. It is also the first commercial model of Honda to be equipped.
