Well-made and finely spun with soft but sturdy, this bedspread's fine-grained jacquard quilted pattern features an inter-woven geometric appearance with a raised texture. Our tailored, double-woven, solid color bedspread has an all over pattern that will look stunning in contemporary homes, shabby chic rooms, and cozy cottages.
Matelassé is a weaving technique that lends the appearance of a thick, quilted pattern without the stitching. This weaving method is produced on a jacquard loom where threads are interwoven to create a thick, heavy fabric that appears to be padded, but really has no fill between the material. Matelassé can be used on upholstered furniture, but more commonly seen on bedspreads, pillows, and bed skirts.
Care Instructions: As a helpful tip, our bedspreads are made oversized to compensate for 5%-8% shrinkage of the natural fibers when washing. Shrinkage can be reduced by always washing in cold water and drying in low heat.
