In case you were not at home when the product was delivered and the slot in the letterbox was too small to get the package inside, the package will normally be returned to the nearest post office. The postman would have left a note in the letterbox stating that the package is in the post office. It is expected that you would pick up the package within 3 days. If you did not collect it during this time it is returned to the seller.
If this item is returned to the seller because the buyer was not available when the parcel was sent to him, the buyer will have to bear the full cost of reshipping the item. If the item is sent back to the seller because the buyer did not collect the item when it was sent to him, and during the return passage of this item, if the item is lost during the return passage to the seller, the buyer is responsible for this as he did not collect his parcel when it was sent to him. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be available when the parcel reaches him or to collect his parcel from his local post office without delay if he was not available when the parcel was sent to him.
