Six costumed dolls and 23 costumes representing
the President and his wife Eleanor in the clothes they wore during
inaugural events of 1933, 1937 and 1941, and on other state and private
occasions. Including Mrs. Roosevelt’s riding habit, her wartime Red Cross
uniform, a morning gown of pale moss green crepe….., also costumed paper
doll groups depicting the Roosevelt’s five adult children with the
President’s mother, King George VI of England and Queen Elizabeth, also 13
grandchildren during their last Christmas at the White House in 1944.
