SGC graded 1936 Carreras LTD Famous Airmen and Airwomen #29 Captain Jimmy Doolittle. Captain James Doolittle. The card features Doolittle on his Curtiss R3C-2 Racer, the plane in which he won the 1925 Schneider Trophy Race. Doolittle is best known for his actions in WWII leading the raids against Japan following Pearl Harbor, as well as leading parts of the Africa and Mediterranean campaigns.
