This MinoltaX-700 body is fitted with the Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.4 Minolta MC lens.  The Minolta MC Rokkor-X 50-millimeter f/1.4PG is known for its smooth focusing and works especially well for portrait shots. The lens on this camera body can be used to photograph subjects as close as 1.75 feet away. This camera is used and shows wear for its age.  This offering also includes a dedicated electronic flash unit as shown. The camera body and flash batteries have been removed from the equipment when it was put into storage in the mid-nineties.

Although I have not “film” tested the camera, it mechanically winds and snaps on all shutter settings and I have confirmed that the shutter, internal electronics, viewfinder led display, audible warning indicator, main switch and the flash unit are fully functional with a test batteries installed.
