Rare Signed Taylor Bros. Rochester, N.Y.  Brass Radial Scale Hanging Thermometer circa. Jan. 12, 1887

• 1851 George Taylor & David Kendall Began making thermometers & barometers in Rochester, N.Y.
• 1871 Frank Taylor ( George's Brother) joined George and the Business was renamed Taylor Bros.
• Taylor Bros. was very instrumental in making instrumentation for the Government War efforts.
• This thermometer is as seen in photos ~ displays very nicely.
• Condition: Glass bulb has broken off inside brass casing, mercury no longer exists. 
• Glass thermometer can be replaced, top & bottom sections can be removed .
• Overall the Ornate Brass Housing / Casing is in Extremely Nice Condition.
• There are 2 brass applied flowers missing but still has much value due to it rarity & presentation.
• Measures: Length 7 3/4" ( 15 1/2" w/ original chain)  x  Width 2" Tri - shaped.
