These beautiful buttons were made in the Czech Republic - Northern Bohemia, are made from LIGHT GREEN VASELINE GLASS , UNIQUE handpressmolded HEXAGON SHAPE and ANTIQUE Relief!!!!! Buttons have AURORA BOREALIS IRIDESCENT FINISH!!!!!!!! UNIQUE BUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wire LOOP shank.

Size: 7/8 inches, or 2.25 cm

Buttons are in very good condition.

Uranium/VASELINE glass is created when 2% Uranium Dioxide is added to the glass formula. It is a very difficult color to produce because of its high percentage of breakage in the creation process of this rare glass. Uranium glass is giving the button a UNIQUE green tone as the light reflects through the glass - UNBELIEVEBLE color effect - it "glows" a bright fluorescent green when UV light is shined on the glass.
