Provides an easy method to connect a multimeter to the vehicle electrical system to diagnose drain.

Features:
Replaceable in-line fuses both the meter and tester in the event a high current source on the vehicle is left on.
The multimeter is bypassed with the switch during connection in of a surge.
The tester and meter can remain connected until other systems shut down, isolating the drain.
As a convenience, stacking banana connectors are used on the tester.

Package Weight: 150g

Package List:
1 * Drain Tester

Instructions:
1. and turn off the engine, open the hood, lock the door, and wait for the ECU to enter sleep.
2. Clamp the terminal (negative) with the spring clip, then use the fully wrapped clip to clamp the terminal clip (negative)/ground.
3. Flip the switch to the ON position (l/closed); Plug the 4mm banana plug (red) into the multimeter A/10/20A jack, and the 4mm banana plug (black) into the multimeter COM jack.Turn the dial of the multimeter to point to the A/10A/20A gear.
4. Loosen the terminal clip nut with wrench, then disconnect the terminal clip from the terminal, which can be separated by cardboard or sheet.
5. Turn the switch to OFF (O/Disconnect) to read the current value by multimeter.
6. If you need to change the of the multimeter, you should turn the switch to ON (l/Closed), and then turn the multimeter dial. Select the appropriate and re-plug to 4mm banana jack (red) [if necessary], and then turn the switch to OFF (ON/Disconnect).

Notes:
1. Please turn off the engine and remove the before testing the current leakage. Do not the engine during the test to burning the fuse.
2. Current leakage testing needs to simulate the usual state when the car is -off, please be sure to shut the door, pull out the (can be locked), so that the car into a sleep state.
3. Different car computers enter the hibernation state at different times, so please be patient when measuring to determine whether current leakage is generated.
4. The standby current varies from car to car, but the value should be between 20 and 60 .
5. It is recommended to use a 10A fuse to replace the fuse of the line tester to burning the multimeter.
